Repertory Group

This group was formed in 2004 as an opportunity to young emerging dancers interested in developing their performance skills. The Repertory Group gave its premiere performance at IFCC, Jan. 12, 2005 - new choreography Wind and the Rain created collaboratively with Agnieszka Laska to live music by Tessa Brinckman at Jack Gabel's CD Release Event. Agnieszka Laska has created hours of gratifying choreography for companies in Poland, Mexico and her current Portland-based company Agnieszka Laska Dancers. As ALD grows and develops professionally, we are continually auditioning new talent and accepting interested dancers into this special ongoing workshop to teach repertory and develop dancers for roles in the company. The company's bookings are increasing in widely varying venues, offering numerous performance opportunities for both the seasoned company members and members in training. Dedicated, talented developing dancers can look forward to working through the repertory group first to community performances and ultimately to fully produced feature performances.
